Margaret was a member of Lutterworth Writers' Group for many years.

Her books were self published and the money raised from selling them was donated to Rainbows Hospice.

Margarets books were full of poems and stories reflecting her life in Leicester and the things that had happened in her life from the 1930's to the 21st centuary
