Film Festival Success
May 2022
The short science fiction film, 'A Change in Time' written, produced and directed by group secretary Pat Knight continues to do well on the short film festival circuit.
​
The film has screened at the Unrestricted View Film Festival in London, Clean Shorts Film Festival in Oklahoma, End of Days Film Festival in Florida, ConCarolinas Film Festival in South Carolina, the Northampton Film Festival, where it was runner up in the 'sketchy link' to Northamptonshire category and has 2 nominations at the Midlands Movies Awards in Leicester.
The film picked up two awards at the recent Wolverhampton Film Festival, winning Best Special Effects and Best Young Male Actor for David Knight

Members of the writers' group attended the cast and crew screening of the short science fiction film, 'A Change in Time' at The Century Theatre, Coalville. The film was written, produced and directed by Pat Knight

The trailer for the short science fiction film, 'A Change in Time' written and directed by Pat Knight has been released.
"It’s just another ordinary day in the life of teenager Sam Beattie when he’s seized by Time Agents. Sam discovers the actions of time travellers from the future have erased his family tree. He, along with his relatives on his dads side of the family, no longer exist. With the help of his cousin Eliza, can they find a way to restore their timelines?"
The film will be submitted to film festivals worldwide in April.

Congratulations to group member Lynne Vernon who has secured a contract with Austin Macauley for the publication of her collection of rollickingly funny short stories about two highly anthropomorphised cats, Jupiter and Aphrodite. “Two Funky Felines” is to be published later in 2021 and will be available on the Austin Macauley website, Amazon and Goodreads, etc.
